Foreign-currency receipts, converted at the ECB rate.
A train in London, dinner in Stockholm, hosting billed in dollars. InvoiceSnap keeps each receipt in the currency printed on it and can add its total in euros, converted at the European Central Bank's reference rate for that receipt's date, with the rate and its date in the next columns.

Real ECB rates for these dates. The Sunday café receipt uses Friday's rate, the last one published before it.
How it works
- 01
Scan as usual
The currency printed on each receipt is read and kept with the scan, together with its date.
- 02
Pick "Totals in one currency"
In the export, choose EUR or another currency. It works with Excel, and with CSV at one row per receipt.
- 03
Get three extra columns
The total in your currency, the exchange rate used, and the date of that rate.
Why it fits
The receipt's own date
Each receipt converts at the rate for the date printed on it, not today's rate.
Weekends and holidays
The ECB publishes no rates on weekends and TARGET holidays, so a Sunday receipt uses the last rate published before it.
The ECB's currencies
Any currency the ECB publishes a reference rate for, from USD, GBP and CHF to SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN and CZK.
Rate lookups send only codes and dates
To look up rates, your browser sends each receipt's currency and date to our server, nothing else. The rates come from Frankfurter, a free service that publishes the ECB's data.
Questions
- Which exchange rate is used?
- The euro reference rate the European Central Bank publishes for the receipt's date. Converting to another currency, such as SEK or USD, uses the ECB rates for both.
- Is that the rate my tax office wants?
- Not always. Some tax offices publish their own monthly rates or accept your bank's rate. The export shows each rate and its date, so you or your accountant can check it.
- Does it work with the Xero and QuickBooks files?
- No. Those keep each amount in the receipt's own currency, as their importers expect. Import each currency into an account in that currency.
- How much does it cost?
- 5 scans a month are free, with no account. After that, credit packs start at €4 for 20 scans and never expire. There's no subscription.
