A receipt scanner that doesn't keep your receipts.

A receipt shows where you were, what you bought and often the last digits of your card. InvoiceSnap reads the photo, sends the numbers back to your browser and throws the photo away. There's no account, no cloud archive and no copy on our servers.

This is all that comes back: the numbers, saved in your browser. The photo is gone.

How it works

  1. 01

You pick a photo or PDF

It's shrunk in your browser and sent over HTTPS. PDFs and iPhone HEIC photos are turned into an image on your device first.

  2. 02

    It's read, then discarded

Our server passes the image to Google Gemini to read, in memory. When the result is back the image is dropped: never written to disk, never kept, never used by us to train models.

  3. 03

    Your results stay with you

Vendor, date, VAT and totals are saved in your browser on this device only. Export them, back them up to a file, or delete them.

Why it fits

No account

No email and no password. Free scans are counted with a device cookie and your IP address; paid scans use a license key.

No cloud archive

We can't show you last year's receipts because we never had them. Keep your originals, as your tax office expects, and download a backup of your results if you want one.

Who sees your receipt

Google Gemini reads the image, sent from our server on Vercel, and processes it under its Gemini API terms. Nobody else gets it; the privacy policy lists every provider.

Analytics without receipts

We count page views and scan timings (PostHog, hosted in the EU), never your receipts, amounts or file names.

Questions

Is my receipt stored anywhere?
Not by us. The image is held in memory while it's read, then discarded. The extracted data lives in your browser until you delete it. If you run out of credits mid-scan, that one photo waits in your browser (not on our server) for up to 24 hours, so you don't have to pick it again.
Which AI reads my receipts?
Google Gemini, through its API. We send it the image and our instructions; your results come back to your browser.
What happens if I clear my browser?
Your saved scans go with it. Download a backup from the Stash first if you want to keep them; you can restore it in any browser.
How much does it cost?
5 scans a month are free, with no account. After that, credit packs start at €4 for 20 scans and never expire. There's no subscription.
